EXTRA CREDIT #2

Banner

Layers used: Raster and Vector
Total of 7 layers
Used Tahoma Font but resized it
Used Guild images
Used gradients
Added preset shapes used in our building.

I opened the house appearing on the right side
of the WBG banner seperately as it was a very
old gif file. I changed it's colors and painted in
missing portions and added a few of my own
and then copied it as a new image

I then proceeded to play around with it
using layers.

This image had a black background all the way
around the home and no grass so the "glow"
around the home was achieved by playing
with layers and gradients on the image
seperately prior to adding it as a layer
on the banner.

Once I had it to my satisfaction I then made
a new layer on the guild banner and copied
and pasted it onto that layer.

I also had the gradient as the bottom layer
on the banner, made the white layer and
adjusted it using the slider on the layers.

Yes I do get carried away at times. Layering
is a totally new concept for me.

I love it!
