HOW TO MAKE A THUMBNAIL
FOR VIRTUAL COMMUNITIES
USING PSP7

1: With your design on the screen click on the Browser Simulation button.
This removes all the group and other extra things that may be appearing on your screen.

2: On the keyboard, press button on the top right hand side called Print Screen.

3: Open Paintshop Pro and Click Paste and it will open up the picture that was on the screen when you pressed the print screen button.

4: Using crop Cut out everything but your item

5: Now you need to make your picture smaller. Click on Image then Resize or use Shift+S. Note:) I have found using 130 pixels Wide and no more than 150 pixels High works well.

6: Add canvas size either to length or width to enable you to have room to put the name of the object and any other information you want to appear.
e.g., Name,
Number to be sold,
Price of each,
Creator's name,
Date of creation.

7: Using File, Save as of F12, save your file as either a .jpg or as a .gif file
and your ready to upload it to the virtual community of your choice.
