Layered Images
The first image was created using 2 tubes, a white background and a text layer. The second image was done by adding two layers to create a sky and ground. On the first lower layer I used the landscape morning gradiant at its default settings. The next layer I used Jasic's lawn tube applying it numerous times until I had the ground level I needed. I then applied the extrusion tool to the sky to pull it up so that only the top portion of the gradiant I wanted was showing. The transparent portion was thereby covered by the lawn tube. I then sprinkled a couple small dandelions using the small dandelions tube on the established lawn area. I then added 3 addtional transparent layers for the lady with the indian, the man tying sheves and used a shrub tube for the stalks the indian is leaning against. Then I used the extrusion tool to resize the existing figures in the first scene and the move tool to reposition them in the scene and then used the move tool on the previously existing tubes. Finally I used the drop shadow using Rollie's settings I had saved from the text exercise on each figure.
Extra Credit
Used four different brush settings, used various tool settings, used Mosiac Glass texture effect and dropped shadows of different sizes and colors, used four different picture tubes (gmb4382- hwflowr- and Jasc's buttercups- Jasc's butterflies), used hue up and hue down on the buttercup flower layers, used a picture frame, and optimized and saved at different compressions as well as experimented with Crescent Moon Filters on this same image as shown afterwards.
